Trigger
Over the weekend i went to a wedding dinner, and like all friends, hoping that the couple do not "lose" money, i did a search to find out the cost of each banquet table to know the minimal packing rate. Just then i saw a few pages that aggregated wedding banquet pricing and also the hotel's own page too. and when i browsed it, i realised there were some discrepancies.... and decided to post on this.
Comparison
For everyone's convenience, i screenshot price aggregating sites like singaporebrides or thebigplans, to compare with the hotel pricing itself. so just take a look!
From the hotel!
I guess these wedding planning aggregating sites do have a possible conflict of interest to drive up the prices of weddings in order to generate growth in the hospitality sector. so just be careful of the information available online.
And i would like to share the wisdom that the wedding is only for a day, while the marriage is for a lifetime, it is better to invest the efforts in making the marriage work because it brings more happiness than that one wedding day!
Anyway, I bao-ed more than enough for my friend to cover his wedding banquet with some excess just in case.
Still investing related right! somemore from a non-married. hahah
