[weekly review] 2017 w42

Thoughts
Currently work is stressful, but it is the weekend, so besides making new trade plans, I am also looking for areas to invest my human capital in.

Activity
Golden Energy. SOLD with a small loss. while the consolidation volume was small, but the trade has taken too long to prove itself, with that i exited it as the price touched my SL. need to get the cash and get ready to deploy it else where.

Lian Beng. Scaled up with a small fraction. this was part of my trend trading strategy to continuously bet on positions when opportunity arises. as the profits will give me a psychological buffer to withstand the moves and shake.

Speculative Trades
Raffles Medical Group. Price is above the 50ma, and there was a golden crossover for 20ma and 50ma. Big hurdle expected is at around 1.25, where the long term 200ma and horizontal support converges. but will look at it when it comes. meanwhile looks like it should breakout within the next weeks or so, if you notice the price spikes whenever it is near the 20ma. but of course need to cut off this counter if turns bad! holding a very small position so not too worried.

Income Assets
Now is results period for the reits/trusts. Holdings in Suntec & Mapletree GCC looks good.
Chip Eng Seng is running up a fair bit on the possible spin-off of their business unit into the secondary board; while Global Inv is quiet as usual.

Chip Eng Seng. Updated my chart layout. with a TP of $1.1. at that point the dividend will be slightly lesser than 4%, unless CES increases its dividends. At the back of my head, I am also thinking of divesting it eventually because the money can be rotated into another counter with better dividend yield and somemore upside. so just need to find that kind of counter.
Judging from the volume, it is likely that CES price can break 95c convincingly,  but i will still observe the volume to make a decision whether to add or not.

Scouting
My short term approach is to find laggy property counters with a good trading opportunity to enter, while the farther term will be to look out for industry that are poised to rebound (Oil & Gas; Commodities?)  put in small amounts in companies with decent fundamentals and wait for the rebound.

For the near term laggards, i am thinking of Ho Bee Land. Basic analysis is due to property rally yet it has not  powered upwards much yet. and there is a breakout of consolidation zone. My TP for this counter is at 0.75 of its NAV,
