Thoughts
Attention is very important, and we have a limited amount of it each day! as someone holding a day job.... it is very important to prioritize what we use our attention on. If you noticed, my system has been refined further! I have been using my weekend scans to focus just on a few stocks... so that when it is triggered, i will just follow my initial plan. While not automated but it is "brainless enough for me. I have also put a vertical line to let me visually know whats my " time frame" if 50 days later still ranging.. it reminds me to exit!
Anyway in the career front, i have experiencing something positive, and it will help me achieve financial independence a bit earlier. but i will blog about my thoughts on it.

Transactions
Sabana REIT. Bought this on reversal play for capital gains (mentioned here). FA-wise, it is a legit business, just that it has not been very good to churning good profits... but then i am asking why is this counter rebounding when other REITS are losing money? My guess is that it has become "value assets" if you compare to other industrial reits that are all close to NAV now.. SABANA is like 0.7plus of NAV. My play for this... is that if it is uptrending... even very slowly, i will hold onto it and collect dividends, and cut it when it flattens out. ... I am suspecting it will range between the 41c to 50c... which isnt too shabby, as if you can catch 80% of gains it is still a respectable 20% of gains on top of the dividends which i suspect to be flattish.... The macro-outlook for singapore manufacturing outlook is positive, and that will translate to better demand for industrial spaces.
Comfort Delgro. Bought this due as a reversal play, for capital gains. Similar to Sabana, i believed the counter has bottomed, coupled with dividends..... that even with slow price appreciation, it is okay because of its dividends. looking at $3 as the TP. FA-wise, this company seems to be acquiring other similar businesses.... but is in a mature and possibly disrupted industry. However one must not mistake grab as a competitor... but it is using ride hailing as a beach-head to promote its payment mode (which will be more profitable). With Uber out-muscled by grab, Grab has established itself as a leader in its business segment, the other incumbents Ryde? Go-jek ? with less infra might not pose such a threat to grab, and hence will have limited effect on Grab and Comfort delgro. But of course this situation is worth watching out for.
