I'm lazy so nothing too granular, this can be analysed when i more free.
Key points:
Asset growth ( equity + cash)
- increased by 58K compared to $31.4K (in 2018)
- mainly due to saving up bonuses ($20K this yr)
- increased savings due to pay increment
- restarting my income investing gaining $4.6K compared to $1.6K (in 2018)
CPF wise
- MA has hit the BHS in Aug 2019, so SA has had that extra boost.
- thinking of cash topup CPF SA
- total CPF stands at $248K
Expenses
- creeped up a bit (before the end of the yr, it is currently at 29K, likely to add another 2K), so it will be 31-32K
- Giving parents a bit more allowance.
- Treating my colleagues (juniors + executives) a bit more often
Moving into 2020.
- put in money (50K) to income investments over 4 quarters
- trade wider(US) but less often
- cash top up CPF-SA and MA to reduce taxation
- continue to control my expenses, but increase parental allowance
